Description

Hair Defender Spray for Women is a topical solution with a unique combination of Minoxidil, Medroxyprogesterone (MPG) and Azelaic acid. This treatment not only prevents the loss of further hair follicles but also promotes the regrowth of hair. Minoxidil is very well-known for its uses in hair regrowth promotion. It works by increasing the blood supply and hence nutrient supply to the hair follicles which stimulates them to grow and reverses the miniaturisation of hair follicles (phase in the hair cycle where the follicles get smaller). MPG works to prevent hair loss by preventing DHT (a substance in the body that is a key factor of genetic hair loss) from destroying the hair follicles. Azelaic acid actively promotes hair regrowth through the stimulation of substances (SHH) that prolongs the time a hair follicle spends in the anagen (or growing phase) of the hair cycle. The effects of Azelaic acid are stronger when used in combination with minoxidil.
